Texas Alpha Mentor Program
Shaping Leaders through Example
The Texas Alpha Mentor Program is part of an ongoing effort to help undergraduate brothers gain insight and knowledge about their career path while also creating a lasting bond between active brothers and alumni.
While we currently have many alumni paired up with current brothers, we still have newer member who have not yet been paired with a mentor. We ask that alumni who choose to become a mentor talk with their paired undergraduate brother at least once a month either by phone or in person in order to understand that brother’s background, family, goals, and challenges. You should work with them to help them be better prepared for interviews, land an internship, and have a leg up in the job market upon graduation. Most importantly though, be their brother and help them gain a valuable experience as a brother of Texas Alpha Phi Kappa Psi.
If you are interested in being a Texas Alpha Mentor, please fill out this short form.
After filling out the form, you can expect to be contacted soon after new member initiation in the Fall of 2016, where you will then have the ability to reach out to your paired undergraduate.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
